The authors report the findings from an international survey of over 200 people into intimacy at work, which shows that for many, intimacy at work is not a problem as long as it is handled well. They look at the possible interventions in managing the impact of intimacy at work and find that it is difficult to effectively regulate such a personal area, guidelines for managers need to be specific to the organisation to reflect the culture
