Las cartas en yaqui de Juan "Bandera"
Eleven letters —ten of them in the Yaqui language — written concerning the famous native leader Juan Ignacio Jusacamea, 'Bandera', during the period from July 1, 1830, to November 8, 1832, are transcribed, translated and introduced in this article. These extremely valuable testimonies preserved at the Bancroft Library, attracted the interest of the late Edward H. Spicer who provided John Dedrick with a copy of them.
