This case study explored the evolution of a mutual aid network founded through virtual mediums and using digital technologies in response to the socio-economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Boston, MA area. We collected qualitative interviews with the network's founders and focus groups with active members. When refugees arrive in their new resettlement country, they are designated to work with a caseworker employed with a resettlement agency who helps them acclimate to their new environment and break down new challenges. How Interpersonal Motives Clarify the Meaning of Interpersonal Behavior
Circumplex models have organized interpersonal behavior along 2 orthogonal dimensions-communion (which emphasizes connection between people) and agency (which emphasizes one person's influence over the other).
