Objective We examine how congressional candidates use social media such as Twitter (X) to promote a political brand and connect with voters during campaigns. In 2005 ongoing political conflict between the executive and legislative branches of government in Ecuador culminated in a struggle over the judiciary. These events resulted in the dismissal, re-constitution, and dismissal again of the Ecuadorian high court (the Corte Suprema de Justicia) and the impeachment of the president. Post-Katrina Guiding Principles of Disaster Social Science Research
A Katrina Summit was held November 18–19 at Mississippi State University's Social Science Research Center (SSRC). Major funding was provided by the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station (MIS–605270). The Secondary Consequences of Conducting Polls in Political Science Classes
