    This article probes whether ethics education improves student ability to reason and act morally or whether it merely provides more arrows to shoot at ethical targets vaguely comprehended. We report a case of cheating in a business ethics class as well as an assessment of student moral reasoning before and after completing a course in ethics for public administrators.
