Celebrating new life – A literature review of research on birth rites in Western societies
Purpose This paper aims to overview current research on birth rites in Western societies and identify and discuss empirical, theoretical and methodological gaps in the research field. Constructions of Religion in Swedish Newspaper Articles on Funerals during the covid-19 Pandemic
This study examines the discursive construction of religion in Swedish newspaper articles on funerals during the covid -19 pandemic. Thirty articles from the six most prominent newspapers were analyzed using Multimodal cda and intersectionality. The aim of this article is to investigate the construction of climate risks and to identify how it intersects with different forms of discursive categories in house owner narratives. Interviews with 44 house owners in four regions exposed to climate risks in Sweden were analyzed using the narrative method.
