Finding alternative community-based learning delivery for parenting skills during Covid-19 for mothers with children aged 0–3 Years
Parenting training has been considered crucial to improving child development. The Tanoto Foundation's parenting program intervention was started in 2021 when the COVID-19 pandemic impacted government policies in Indonesia. Preventive measures that limit mobility affect the sustainability of face-to-face parenting interventions. Associations of self‐forgiveness processes with distress and well‐being outcomes
To date, few empirical studies have examined the benefits of the processes involved in self‐forgiveness—value reorientation and esteem restoration—for individual well‐being using longitudinal data from non‐Western samples. In this study, we take a step toward addressing this gap by analysing three waves of data collected among 595 Indonesians ( M age = 21.95, SD = 4.39). Applying the analytic templates for lagged exposure‐wide and outcome‐wide lo…
Effects of prayer frequency and orientations on distress and well-being
Associations of orientation to promote good in challenging situations with distress and well‐being
We examine whether an orientation to promote good serves as a potential buffer against distress and facilitator of well‐being outcomes in three non‐Western samples with a recent history of conflict (Indonesia, Colombia, Mexico) and across three different time frames (1, 4 and 12 months). Longitudinal surveys provided data for cross‐lagged panel modelling. A series of sensitivity analyses provided evidence for the robustness of results. Persons wi…

A many-analysts approach to the relation between religiosity and well-being

Here, we adopted a many-analysts approach to assess the robustness of this relation based on a new cross-cultural dataset (N=10,535 participants from 24 countries). We recruited 120 analysis teams to investigate (1) whether religious people self-report higher well-…
