The 2011 Welsh General Election
The May 2011 Welsh General Election represented an important staging post in the development of a mature democracy as it followed immediately from the referendum result which gave the Assembly full-primary legislative powers. Women's Representation in the Scottish Parliament and National Assembly for Wales
The new Scottish Parliament and National Assembly for Wales elected in May 1999 were notable for the high levels of women's representation amongst their membership.
