Strategy Training and Practice in Disjunctive Concept Attainment
64 Ss attained a series of three disjunctive concepts in an instance-selection procedure. Training in the appropriate strategy facilitated performance as compared with instructions which simply specified that the concept was disjunctive. A practice effect was obtained under both instructional conditions. A negative example card led to greater efficiency
