  • The dynamic evolution mechanism of informal leadership status

Jingzhou Pan, Binbin Sun et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2026

  • Followers' unclear demands during the Covid‐19 pandemic can undermine leaders' well‐being

    Open Access•Yuyan Zheng, Chia‐huei Wu et al.•ARTICLE•Applied Psychology•2022

Although effective leaders are important for reducing employee stress during the COVID‐19, limited studies have examined how follower behaviors can influence leader stress and well‐being during the COVID‐19. This study draws on defeat‐entrapment theory to examine how followers' unclear demands during the COVID‐19 consequently impact leaders' psychological states and well‐being. We conducted a three‐wave time‐lagged investigation with a sample of …

  • What if my coworker builds a better LMX? The roles of envy and coworker pride for the relationships of LMX social comparison with learning and undermining

Open Access•Jingzhou Pan, Xiaotong Zheng et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Organizational Behavior•2021•Citada por: 7•Referencias: 13

Although the extant literature has demonstrated the benefits of building a higher leader–member exchange (LMX) relationship with a leader, it has overlooked the efforts by lower LMX employees to leverage the difference from higher LMX coworkers. Integrating social comparison theory and EASI theory, we contend that lower LMX social comparison (LMXSC) is associated with positive (self‐improving) and negative (undermining) behavior via different emo…

  • The Influence of the Leader’s Creativity on the Employees’ Creativity

Jingzhou Pan, Yating LOU et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica Sinica•2013
