Perspective d’usagers suivis en clinique externe d’établissements de première, deuxième et troisième lignes
L'étude regroupe les résultats de quatre enquêtes majeures sur la satisfaction de la clientèle de services de consultation externe en santé mentale de Montréal. Elle implique des milieux offrant des services de base, des services spécialisés et des services ultra-spécialisés. Effectiveness of a social skills training program using self/other perspective-taking
Using a pre/posttest design, with a nine-month follow-up, a new, "modified" social skills training program, which incorporates the concept of self/other perspective-taking, was evaluated and compared to a traditional social skills program in a sample of 36 children. Acculturation style and psychological functioning in children of immigrants
Thirty-four immigrants, predominantly Asian, and their 48 children were assessed for relationship of acculturation style to children's psychological functioning. Children of parents accepting the majority culture scored higher in social competence. Many of the children reported as having extreme behavioral problems had rejected their ethnic culture
Risk and protective factors for disruptive behavior disorders in children
Biological, psychological, and social risk and protective factors in the development of disruptive behavior disorders were assessed in 50 disordered and 50 control preadolescents. Significant risk factors included learning difficulties, hyperactivity, perinatal complications, and violence in the home. Significant protective factors included ability to express feelings and a good relationship with grandparents
