Les décisions judiciaires sont-elles indépendantes du fait que les prévenus soient « européens » ou « maghrébins » ? Nos données, portant sur des jugements rendus devant le tribunal correctionnel de Lille en 2000 et 2009, indiquent que les prévenus « maghrébins » représentent en tout cas 35 % de l’échantillon et 50 % de ceux qui sont condamnés à une peine de prison ferme.
