    In an analysis of 23 sex-specific tumors in the Connecticut Tumor Registry, only seven tumors showed more than a 20 per cent increase in the ratio of localized tumors detected post-Medicare (1967-75) versus ante-Medicare (1960-65) in the 65-75 year age group compared to the 60-64 year age group.
