Redcastle, Lunan Bay, Angus
Cropmarks of a cemetery containing square- and round-ditched burials were excavated at Redcastle in 1997 and 1998. A total of sixteen graves was recorded: five in square barrows, two in round barrows and nine unenclosed graves. Another round barrow is clearly visible on the aerial photograph outside the excavation area. Preservation of the graves and the human remains therein varied considerably. Artificial platforms of possible Iron Age or Dark Age date on Dùn Mór, Dornie, Skye & Lochalsh
Report a topographical survey and trial excavations that were conducted on a tree-covered ridge near Dornie. A number of artificially enhanced platforms were discovered at different levels on the ridge; these had been created by connecting bedrock outcrops with retaining walls. Walls delimit access to the ridge from the south-east, where there is an isolated platform. A well defined pathway, enhanced in two places by retaining walls, dog-legs up …
Some distinguishing features of patients failing to attend a psychiatric clinic after referral
With outpatient clinics meeting an increasing demand for services from the community, they must use their resources more effectively. Patients who fail to attend after referral represent a failure on the part of the clinic to meet the needs of its community. Identification and understanding of these people's needs might lead to more effective clinic programs
