The geography of the disability employment gap
Disabled people fare particularly badly when living in areas that are economically and socially disadvantaged; they therefore have the most to gain from distributing national prosperity more equally. The disability employment gap in Britain (2014–19) was 31 percentage points (pp), but ranged from 17 pp to 43 pp locally. The Study of the Prevention of Anal Cancer (SPANC)
Recruitment for the study began in September 2010 and will conclude in mid-2015, with follow up continuing to 2018. Thus far, over 350 men have been recruited from a variety of community-based settings and are broadly representative of the target screening population. Objectives The principal goals of this study were to determine whether ASD predicted chronic PTSD and whether dissociation is more characteristic of the acute-trauma period than PTSD symptoms.
