The Grevy's zebra (Equus grevyi) is an endangered equid found in northern Kenya and Ethiopia on rangelands often shared by pastoral populations. The natural environment benefits greatly from the work of volunteers. However, little is known as to why people are willing to volunteer their time to such programs.
