The rehabilitation of the Benguela Railway and the reactivation of the Lobito Corridor
The Lobito Development Corridor consists of a multi-modal transport system stretching from the port of Lobito across Angola into the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia. The Sabor River basin is a large basin (3170 km 2 ) located in the northeast of Portugal and used mostly for agroforestry. One problem this basin faces is a lack of water during the dry season, when there is a higher demand for water to irrigate crops.
