Reframing human trafficking awareness campaigns in the United States

Conceptions of objects across categories
Studies of category‐specific disorders have suggested that categories of living and non‐living things vary in the properties that are most salient to recognition. Studies of the object features generated by normal adults have also revealed different patterns of responses to different categories. Pronoun Choice for Gender-Unspecified Agent Words
This study investigated pronoun choices made by third-grade, eighth-grade, and college students on a written production task for 10 agent words which could be of either male or female gender. Masculine pronouns were the predominant choice by all age groups for five words, and feminine pronouns for one word. Four words showed variation across age groups.
