  • The association of multi-system health status and its longitudinal changes with cardiovascular disease risk

Open Access•Yijing Xin, Xifeng Qian et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Global Health•2026

  • Paleoclimate reconstruction and topographic drivers of piedmont glaciers during the LGM

Open Access•Yanmin Yang, Gengnian Liu•ARTICLE•Progress in Physical Geography:…•2026

The piedmont glacial landforms on the northern foothills of the Central Himalayas provide critical records of the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) glaciation, yet the glacier–environment interactions in the Yarlung Zangbo River source region (SYZR) remain poorly constrained. Integrating field surveys, remote sensing, a previously established chronological and glacier reconstruction framework, and a coupled Precipitation-Temperature (P-T) model, this st…

  • Optimization of Ecological Security Pattern in a Mining City

Open Access•Danfei Zhong, Jian Peng et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2026

During the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, the rapid emergence of the post‐mining era has enhanced the urgency of ecological restoration in mining areas, making it a critical global priority. Ecological security pattern (ESP), a cost‐effective approach for ecological restoration, has seen limited comparative studies on multi‐scenario ecological restoration strategies across its optimization. To fill this gap, Datong, a typical min…

  • Association between social risk profile, cardiovascular risk factors control, and future cardiovascular risk

Open Access•Yijing Xin, Siqi Lyu et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

SRP grades were positively related to the strict control of blood pressure and glucose; and negatively related to the strict control of lipids. Controlling more risk factors is associated with a lower mortality risk. The lower the SRP grades, the greater the reduction in all-cause and cardiovascular mortality risk due to cardiovascular risk factor control

  • Association between systolic blood pressure trajectories and successful aging in middle-aged and elderly Chinese individuals

Open Access•Yijing Xin, Xifeng Qian et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Both stable high and unstable high SBP trajectories were significantly associated with reduced likelihood of successful aging. These findings highlight the importance of longitudinal SBP monitoring in promoting healthy aging in midlife and beyond

  • Are Cities Losing Innovation Advantages? Online Versus Face-to-Face Interactions

Open Access•Ruben Gaetani, Naqun Huang et al.•ARTICLE•The Economic Journal•2025•Referencias: 47

How did COVID-19 affect the innovation advantages of dense locations? Using data on the universe of US patent applications, we find that the density premium in the production of novel inventions declined by 18.5%–22.9% in 2020–1 relative to its pre-pandemic level. Smartphone data on local mobility suggest that the drop in the frequency of local interactions can explain a significant portion of this effect. While COVID-19 resulted in a temporary s…

  • Indirect impacts of future urban expansion on ecosystem services in the transnational area of China, North Korea, and Russia

Open Access•Da Zhang, Ying Nan et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2023

Assessing the indirect impacts of urban expansion on ecosystem services is important for understanding the cascading effect of urbanization on the environment. However, few studies have assessed the indirect impacts of urban expansion on ecosystem services. In this study, the indirect impacts of urban expansion on ecosystem services refer to the impacts of cropland displacement on ecosystem services, which is triggered by urban expansion. Taking …

  • Reconstruction of palaeoglaciers and palaeoclimate in Zheduo Shan, Eastern Tibetan Plateau, during the Last Glacial Maximum

Open Access•Yanmin Yang, Weilin Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Quaternary International•2023

  • JUE Insight

Open Access•Naqun Huang, Jindong Pang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Urban Economics•2023•Citada por: 2•Referencias: 15

  • Environmental degradation in the transnational area of Changbai Mountain based on multiple remote sensing data

Open Access•Yaohang Sun, Ying Nan et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2022

Rapid and effective assessment of environmental degradation is essential for promoting regional sustainable development in the transnational area of Changbai Mountain (TACM). However, a comprehensive understanding of environmental degradation in the TACM remains inadequate. In this study, we developed an environmental degradation index (EDI) using multiple remote sensing data, including the enhanced vegetation index, gross primary productivity, l…

  • Direct and indirect losses of natural habitat caused by future urban expansion in the transnational area of Changbai Mountain

Open Access•Yanmin Yang, Ying Nan et al.•ARTICLE•Sustainable Cities and Society•2020
