Simulations have become popular teaching tools in political science and EU studies curricula. Proponents point out that simulations match with constructivist theories of learning. Poverty among children has risen rapidly in the past 20 years. Child poverty rates will continue to rise unless the federal government addresses this problem. No single program or policy can eliminate poverty.
