The Application of the Goodenough-harris Draw-a-man Test to a Group of Iranian Children in the City of Shiraz
This paper reports on the application of the Goodenough-Harris DAM test to a representative sample of 1,195 Iranian children (548 boys and 647 girls) aged between 6 years and 13 years and enrolled in grades 1 to 5 of eight public primary schools in the city of Shiraz, southern Iran. Some Personality Correlates of Contemplated Suicide
Using subjects' own reports of serious suicidal thought, a group of American university students were divided into two groups in terms of contemplated suicide. The group admitting serious suicidal thoughts ( N = 111) differed significantly from the nonsuicidal group ( N = 356) on 7 of the 9 personality dimensions covered by Lanyon's Psychological Screening Inventory and Eysenck's PEN Questionnaire.
