  • Association between creative self-efficacy and innovation literacy among undergraduate nursing students

Open Access•Ruiqi Lyu, Zhenhong Zhou et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Background: Healthcare professionals frequently encounter unanticipated workplace challenges, positioning innovation literacy as an essential competency for career advancement. As future practitioners, undergraduate nursing students require adequate innovation literacy to support the optimization of clinical nursing practice and nursing education. This study aimed to explore the association between creative self-efficacy and innovation literacy, …

  • Network meta-analysis and dose–response analysis of exercise on sleep quality and BMI in obese populations

Open Access•Hongfei Wang, Jiaxin Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Background and aims: Exercise is key to ameliorating sleep disorders in obese populations; however, the relative benefits of different exercise modes and the optimal dosage remain unclear. This study aims to systematically evaluate the relative efficacy and dose-response characteristics of seven exercise interventions on sleep quality (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index [PSQI]) and body mass index (BMI) in overweight and obese populations via network…

  • How former beginning teachers reach the final decision to quit

Open Access•Huixuan Xu, Zhuoran Li et al.•ARTICLE•Teaching and Teacher Education•2026

While much research has explained former beginning teachers' reasons for turnover, few studies have examined how they arrive at their final decision to quit. Following Maertz and Campion's typology of turnover decision paths, the present study proposed refined indicators and an analysis method to classify former beginning teachers' turnover decision paths. Examining 29 job experiences from 22 Chinese former beginning teachers in a narrative study…

  • Humanizing virtual agents through mutual self-disclosure

    Open Access•Jiaxin Wang, Jia-Xin Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Acta Psychologica•2026

Despite the increasing anthropomorphism of virtual agents, a persistent “cooperation gap” exists where humans often cooperate less with artificial agents than with real human partners. The present research addresses this gap by investigating whether mutual self-disclosure training, in which humans and virtual agents reciprocally share personal information, can enhance interpersonal engagement and promote cooperative behavior. We focused on intera…

Open Access•Tingting Song, Liuqi Sun et al.•ARTICLE•Humanities and Social Sciences…•2025

The mechanisms of team internal social capital and entrepreneurial learning relationships in new venture teams (NVT) are relatively under-studied. This study investigates the association between internal social capital and entrepreneurial learning and the mediating roles of shared mental models and organisation-based self-esteem. Study 1 collected data from 284 participants from 111 NVTs in Eastern China. The hypotheses were tested using a multil…

  • A hybrid online-offline project-based learning model with a tractor hydraulic leveling system case for hydraulic and pneumatic transmission education

    Open Access•Jiaxin Wang, Jia‐Xin Wang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Education•2025

This study develops a hybrid Project-Based Learning (PBL) model integrating online-offline instruction for Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission. Using an intelligent tractor leveling system case, we implemented the approach with 93 undergraduates (test group) versus 70 undergraduates (control group). Results showed the test group achieved significantly higher theoretical test average score (70.4 vs. 67.9, p < 0.05) and lower failure rates (2.15% …

  • The impact of teacher support on school adaptation among Chinese urban adolescents

Open Access•Guangbao Fang, Mingxing Xie et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

Enhancing teacher support can effectively enhance the resilience of urban adolescents, leading to improved school adaptation. For left-behind adolescents, strengthening the quality of teacher-student relationships is particularly crucial for their school adaptation. Moreover, providing all students with consistent emotional support is essential, as it positively influences school adaptation regardless of their left-behind status

  • Mechanism of action of Danlou tablets affecting MAFLD via Keap1-mediated oxeiptosis

Open Access•Jingxuan Zhu, Nan Song et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

Our findings suggest that DLT promotes Triglyceride catabolism and inhibit de novo fatty acid synthesis by affecting the activation of the oxeiptosis pathway, suggesting a potential therapeutic strategy for ameliorating NAFLD
