Deaths From Unintentional Injury, Homicide, and Suicide During or Within 1 Year of Pregnancy in Philadelphia
Objectives. To understand the effect of unintentional injuries (e.g., drug overdose), suicide, and homicide on pregnancy-associated death (death during or within 1 year of pregnancy). Methods. We analyzed all cases of pregnancy-associated death among Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, residents from 2010 to 2014, examining cause of death, contributing factors, and history of health care use. Analysis of the Subscales of the Tennessee Self-Concept Scale
The item responses comprising each of the five external dimensions and the three internal dimensions of the Tennessee Self-concept Scale were factor analyzed. The results indicated that seven of the eight subscales are essentially single-factor scales. Implications for counseling are discussed

The item responses of the Tennessee Self-concept Scale for 743 typical adults were factor analyzed. The Self-criticism, Social Self, Family Self, and Personal Self subscales of the external dimension were clearly unitary in composition. The Moral-ethical subscale was more narrowly defined than expected. The Physical Self subscale emerged as three separate factors.
