Porsuk – Zeyve Höyük
Durant la campagne 2021 à Porsuk – Zeyve Höyük, la fouille de la zone 6 a été menée, en continuité avec la zone 5, fouillée en 2019. Elle a permis la mise au jour des vestiges d’une fortification de l’âge du Fer, composée de briques en terre crue et d’un parement de pierres de gypse, sur la zone la plus élevée du site. The Iron Age II site of Hili 2 (Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) is remarkable because of its preservation. The initial excavations, begun in the 1970s, unearthed mudbrick walls preserved in places two meters high. Fieldwork recommenced at Hili 2 in 2018 and as part of this effort the previously exposed architecture was re‐examined.
