  • The association between trauma exposure and creativity

Open Access•Yiming Liang, Aiping Yang et al.•ARTICLE•Thinking Skills and Creativity•2026

  • Three-year nationwide survey of microbiology laboratory equipment conditions in China’s CDC

Open Access•Peihua Niu, Zhenlu Sun et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2026

Background: This study evaluates the penetration and evolution of laboratory equipment in China's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCs) from 2021 to 2023, establishing benchmarks for optimal equipment configuration and operational capacity enhancement. Methods: Data were collected from CDCs at provincial, municipal, and county levels over three years using stratified sampling and structured questionnaires. These captured information o…

  • Measurement, source decomposition, and formation mechanism of differences in the development of China’s health services

Open Access•Fulei Jin, Xigang Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2025

In China, the issue of unbalanced development is rather prominent. This paper conducts research on the differences in China’s health service development, aiming to provide references for promoting health equity through the equalization of health services. A series of quantitative methods are applied in this study, including the two-stage entropy method, spatial kernel density estimation, Theil index, variance decomposition method, and quadratic a…

  • The state of biosafety across China's CDC microbiology laboratories

Open Access•Peihua Niu, Zhenlu Sun et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Public Health•2024

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the critical importance of biosafety in microbiology laboratories worldwide. In response, China has ramped up its efforts to enhance biosafety measures within its Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) laboratories. This study provides the first comprehensive assessment of biosafety practices across provincial, city, and county levels of CDC microbiology laboratories in China. Methods: We co…

  • Evaluation of farmland soil health and optimization of evaluation system under different green manure applications in a semi‐arid irrigation area

Open Access•Xinyue Wang, Jiudong Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Land Degradation and Development•2024

Healthy soil is essential for maintaining food security and enhancing ecosystem functions. Green manure application improves soil fertility and is an alternative to chemical fertilizers; however, research on optimizing soil health assessment systems and providing comprehensive and accurate information for local farmland green manure management models remains limited. In this study, we used maize and potato intercropped with green manure farmland …

  • Evolution and response of flood disaster network public opinion based on an event logic graph

Open Access•Cui Li, Yiming Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Disaster…•2024

  • Latent profiles of psychological status among populations cumulatively exposed to a flood and the recurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic in China

Open Access•Yiming Liang, Yiming Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of Disaster…•2023

  • Identifying the driving factors of word co-occurrence

Open Access•Yiming Zhao, Jiaying Yin et al.•ARTICLE•Scientometrics•2023

  • Content specificity of attentional bias to Covid-19 threat-related information in trait anxiety

Open Access•Yiming Zhao, Xun Jia et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2023

Results suggest that individuals with high trait anxiety show a content-specific attentional bias to COVID-19-related information during the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from the innate attentional bias toward biological threats, individuals with high trait anxiety may also learn from trauma and develop trauma-specific attentional bias

  • The Effect of Air Pollution Control Auditing on Reducing Carbon Emissions

Open Access•Chen Zhao, Jiaxuan Zhu et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Analyzing the carbon-emission-reduction mechanism from the perspective of air pollution control auditing is of great practical significance for China to implement the dual-carbon strategy. Based on the panel data of 30 Chinese provinces from 2004 to 2018, we examine whether and how the auditing of air pollution control has an impact on carbon emission reduction by using multiple regression method and the mediating analysis. Our analyses show that…

  • How Maternal Trauma Exposure Contributed to Children’s Depressive Symptoms following the Wenchuan Earthquake

Open Access•Yiming Liang, Yiming Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•International Journal of…•2022

Although well-established literature has indicated the burden of mental health among victims after the Wenchuan earthquake, no research has focused on the mental health of mothers and their children who experienced the earthquake and were pregnant during or shortly after it. This study investigates the relationship between maternal trauma exposure (TE) and children's depressive symptoms after the Wenchuan earthquake and explores the risk and prot…

  • Long-term exposures to ambient PM 1 and NO 2 pollution in relation to mild cognitive impairment of male veterans in China

Open Access•Gongbo Chen, Jiping Tan et al.•ARTICLE•Environmental Research Letters•2021

Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is an intermediate stage of cognitive decline between normal ageing and dementia or Alzheimer’s disease in the elderly. However, evidence is very limited in China for the association between air pollution and MCI. This study aims to examine the associations of long-term exposure to air pollution and MCI, using data from the Chinese Veteran Clinical Research Platform. A national investigation on mental health of vet…

  • Understanding the determinants of learner engagement in Moocs

  • Understanding users' voice assistant exploration intention

    Yiming Zhao, Yu-Shan Chen et al.•Citada por: 3•Referencias: 9

Purpose The purpose of this study is to develop a framework for the perceived intelligence of VAs and explore the mechanisms of different dimensions of the perceived intelligence of VAs on users’ exploration intention (UEI) and how these antecedents can collectively result in the highest level of UEI. Design/methodology/approach An online survey on Amazon Mechanical Turk is employed. The model is tested utilizing the structural equation modeling …
