Phenytoin, Metronidazole and Multivitamins in the Treatment of Alcoholism
The results of a double-blind study in 50 alcoholics suggest that metronidazole has no long-term value, multivitamins are useful as vitamins only and that phenytoin has some therapeutic value since it is nonaddictive and improves behavior and mood

This work translates Meillet's classic philological study from the original 1908 French edition and the author's 1922 introduction to a new printing. Indexes, missing from the French editions, have been added by the translator for the convenience of the reader, as well as bibliographical references to salient works from the half-century after original composition
