Interaction of Locus of Control, Skill vs Chance Instructions, and Task Difficulty

Reinforcement Strategies for Token Economies in a Special Classroom Setting
Both academic and disruptive behavior in a classroom for children with behavioral problems were monitored under two different pro-cedures for administering token reinforcement. Behavioral control was dem-onstrated when children were reinforced on a variable interval schedule for “in-seat” behavior and also when they were reinforced for correct performance on daily tests. Correlations between the Wais and Revised Beta, Wechsler Memory Scale and Quick Test in a Vocational Rehabilitation Center
A correlational analysis of the Revised Beta, the Wechsler Memory Scale, and the Ammons' Quick Test (Forms 1, 2, 3) with 30 clients from a vocational rehabilitation center yielded correlations with the WAIS of .83, .80, and .84 respectively. For a retarded subgroup of 16 Ss only the Wechsler Memory Scale was significantly correlated with WAIS IQ ( R = .61).
