Study on the influence mechanism of environmental perception on physical health status—with lifestyle as the mediating variable
Residents’ environmental perception affects lifestyle choices, which in turn shape health status. Based on Halliday’s Systemic-Functional Grammar and transitivity theory, this study carries out an analysis in article abstracts of English for Science and Technology (EST), and randomly selects 30 abstracts as the original data from the latest periodical Science (Dec. 2022–Mar. 2023) with the instruments Qualitative Coder 1.1 and SPSS 22. Prevalence of body dissatisfaction and its effects on health-related quality of life among primary school students in Guangzhou, China
BD is as common in children as in adolescents and adults and might be independently associated with HRQoL impairment. The present findings suggest that the current epidemic of BD is a threat to the health of primary school children in China, and prevention programmes for this population should be implemented in the future

Socioeconomic determinants of childhood obesity among primary school children in Guangzhou, China
The socioeconomic gradient for childhood obesity in China is the reverse of the patterns seen in countries at more advanced stages of the obesity epidemic. This presents an opportunity to intervene and prevent the onset of social inequalities that are likely to ensue with further economic development. The marked gender inequality in obesity needs further exploration
