  • Inhalation of Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma essential oil alleviates dyskinesia in Parkinson's disease rats through the regulation of neuroinflammation

Open Access•Yilong Hu, Yinan Zhao et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Hepatoprotective action mechanism and quantification of soyasaponin Bb in Abri Herba by HPLC and network pharmacology

Open Access•Xingmei Lin, Chengzhong Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

Soyasaponin Bb is primarily distributed in the root of AC, and it has a strong protective effect against CCl 4 -induced acute liver injury. It can reduce the level of inflammatory factors, relieve inflammation, and exert anti-fibrotic activity by regulating the TGF-β 1 /α-SMA pathway. Its potential anti-hepatic fibrosis mechanism has been investigated through network pharmacology

  • A comparison review of Hehuan flowers and Hehuan bark on the traditional applications, phytochemistry and pharmacological effects

Open Access•Pengfei Lu, Chengzhong Zhang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2023

  • Total saponins extracted from Abrus cantoniensis Hance suppress hepatitis B virus replication in vitro and in rAAV8-1.3HBV transfected mice

Open Access•Xiangcao Yao, Zhanquan Li et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2020

  • The genus Hippocampus—A review on traditional medicinal uses, chemical constituents and pharmacological properties

    Open Access•Lu Chen, E Zaffagno et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2015

Hippocampus is a promising traditional medicine and holds great potential for being exploited as healthy products and drugs. Aquaculture and substitutes of Hippocampus are valid approaches to protect Hippocampus form being endangered species
