  • Terminalia chebula Retz. aqueous extract exerts anti-adhesive and anti-inflammatory effects against Helicobacter pylori

Open Access•Ling Ou, Bingyun Lu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2027

  • Specific effects of distinct types of adverse childhood experiences on the co-occurrence of non-suicidal self-injury and suicidal behaviors among Chinese adolescents

Open Access•Z Wang, Wei Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Frontiers in Psychiatry•2026

Suicide attempts (SA) and suicidal ideation (SI) tend to co-occur with NSSI among adolescents. Distinct ACE types have unique effects on this co-occurrence, with gender differences. These findings emphasize the importance of considering NSSI and SBs together, and it is more promising to develop tailored anti-ACEs interventions

  • Problematic mobile phone use and depressive symptoms among Chinese adolescents

Open Access•Jie Hu, Chang Peng et al.•ARTICLE•Current Psychology•2025

  • Association between exposure to ambient particulate matter and aggression among adolescents

Open Access•Jie Hu, Qiong Wang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

PM mixed exposure was positively associated with aggression, with associations primarily observed for PM 1 and PM 1 - 2.5 . These findings suggest that effective control of PM with a focus on smaller particles may be more beneficial in reducing aggression

  • Aggression and patterns of co-occurrence mental health problems in Chinese adolescents

Open Access•Fajuan Rong, Mengni Wang et al.•ARTICLE•BMC Public Health•2025

The present study emphasized the heterogeneity of mental health problems and revealed their co-occurrence patterns. Aggression levels are associated with the latent classes in adolescents, with the most pronounced association observed in the high-symptom class. Preventing aggression could contribute to reducing the severity and co-occurring patterns of mental health problems among adolescents

  • Anti Helicobacter pylori activity and gastrointestinal protective effects of Terminalia bellirica

Open Access•Yuanjing Zou, Bingyun Lu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

  • Mobile phone addiction and suicide behaviors among Chinese adolescents

Limiting Internet use and improving interpersonal skills in real life may be efficient for suicide prevention. In addition, targeted interventions should be tailored by different sexes across urban and rural regions

  • In vitro anti-bactrical activity and its preliminary mechanism of action of the non-medicinal parts of Sanguisorba officinalis L. against Helicobacter pylori infection

Open Access•Pengting Chen, Meiyun Chen et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

  • Terminalia chebula Retz. aqueous extract inhibits the Helicobacter pylori-induced inflammatory response by regulating the inflammasome signaling and ER-stress pathway

    Open Access•Ling Ou, Heng-rui Liu et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2024

  • Childhood maltreatment and nonsuicidal self-injury among younger Chinese prisoners

Open Access•Fajuan Rong, Chun Kang et al.•ARTICLE•Current Psychology•2023

  • In vitro anti-Helicobacter pylori activity of Syzygium aromaticum and the preliminary mechanism of action

Open Access•Chang Peng, Shuyi Sang et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2022

  • In-vitro anti-Helicobacter pylori activity and preliminary mechanism of action of Canarium album Raeusch. fruit extracts
