On Correct Consideration of the Archaeological Context in Paleogenetic Research (the Evidence of the Andronovo Culture from Krasnoyarsk Krai)
This article discusses the problem of inaccuracies in paleogenetic reconstructions associated with incorrect consideration of the archaeological context for the samples under study. Interdisciplinary Studies of the Female Burial from Vsekhsvyatskii Necropolis in Krasnoyarsk (19th Century)
The article presents the results of an interdisciplinary study of the burial from Vsekhsvyatskii Orthodox necropolis (Krasnoyarsk, 18th–19th centuries). The excavations of the necropolis were carried out by Yu. A. Grevtsov in 2021.The buried individual had a pathological curvature of the spine in the sagittal plane, more than 90 degrees. The study focuses on the analysis of Middle Neolithic burial complexes of the Baikal-Yenisey Siberia. Based on a series of reliable radiocarbon dates, their age lies within the range of 6190–5900 cal BP. It partly corresponds to the end of the hiatus in the mortuary traditions of Cis-Baikal. In this article means of cranial measurements and indexes of the Tashtyk sample from the Oglakhty burial ground obtained as a result of analysis and integration of the measurements of G. Debets, V. Alexeev and I. Gokhman are presented. Also we updated the means of the pooled Tashtyk sample.
