Perceived abusive supervision and mental health among Chinese graduate students

Association between parents’ value of children and adolescent depression in China
The two aspects of parents' VOC exerted indirect effects on adolescent depression through emotional warmth and rejection or external LOC. The indirect effects of parents' social VOC on adolescent depression were more evident among women than men. Our study extends the theoretical research framework of parents' VOC to adolescent mental health
Interpersonal psychological needs as mediators linking abusive supervision and concurrent suicidal ideation
Daily abusive supervision significantly predicts concurrent suicidal ideation and this association is mediated by perceived burdensomeness. These findings highlight the importance of both fostering positive and supportive supervisory relationships, and addressing unmet interpersonal psychological needs to prevent and mitigate the adverse mental health consequences of abusive supervision
The role of derailment in the relationship between childhood trauma and depression among emerging adults
Derailment partially mediated the association between childhood trauma and depression in emerging adults.
