Comparative Study on Hepatoprotective Activity of Pongamia Pinnata (Pp) & Annona Squamosa (As) Leaf Extracts Against Anti-Tubercular Drugs (Isoniazid & Rifampin) Induced Hepatotoxicity in Rats
Objectives: - The goal of this study is to compare the effects of Pongamia Pinnata and Annona Squamosa on anti-tubercular medicines-induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Materials and Procedures: - In rats, hepatotoxicity was caused by administering a suspension of isoniazid and rifampin orally for 21 days. Gas chromatography mass spectroscopic analysis of Rasnadi Churnam
The present work is to analyse one Ayurvedic formulation, Rasnadichurnam by GC MS to know the types of molecules present in it. The medicine was procured from a standard Ayurvedic vendor at Chennai, India and was subjected to Gas Cnromatography Mass Spectroscopic analysis after processing it as per standard protocol.
