Treatment differentiation between group music therapy and recreational choir singing for people with dementia and depression living in residential care homes
The current findings confirm treatment differentiation between the two music-based interventions delivered as part of the MIDDEL trial. This feasibility study demonstrates contingency between mothers and their preterm infants' specific behaviors during IDS. The analysis could not detect a direct link between helping alliance score and outcome variables. However, the analysis documented a stronger alliance developed in the MT group, a lower dropout rate, as well as higher attendance in treatment.
