    A sample of young married couples in which each husband was 19 or younger and each couple had been married a minimum of six months was studied to explore selected characteristics of teen-age marriages and to test the general proposition that a positive relationship exists between mental health (integration of the personality system) and marital integration. The results lend empirical support to selected ideas of role and social action theory
