Finger prints in Japanese females
On the basis of the finger prints of 213, 138 Japanese females collected by the research group of Japanese dermatoglyphics from 169 sites covering almost all Japan during 1952 to 1955, local variations and a geographical cline of Japanese were ascertained. The Physical Characters of the Kindred Population in Osaka
In 1951 and 1952 I researched some physical characters of two populations (X and Y group) which married whithin limited groups in Osaka.The special features of these groups are as follows.1) On the A. B. O blood groups, X group has more O type than gernral Japanese and Y group has many B type for the Japanese. On the Skulls of the Protohistoric Japanese from the Kinki District
(1) The cranium of the protohistoric Kinki Japanese is short in cranial (maximum) length, broad in cranial (maximum) breadth, and brachycran in cranial index. Their cranial (basi-bregmatic) height is low, and facial (bizygomatic) breadth is wide.
