This study examines the perceptions of campus atmosphere among LGBTQ+ students in Thai higher education, investigating the interplay of regional, academic, and identity-related factors that influence student experiences. This paper considers how online practices can reinforce inequality and constrain wellbeing, resilience, and self-esteem for Thai LGBTQ+ identifying individuals. This article examines the cultural-linguistic adaptations of independent long-staying Western migrants (IWMs) in Bangkok, Thailand, focusing on the dynamic relationship between their learning and use of Thai language and adaptations to Thai cultural norms.
