Linguistic characteristics of bimodal bilingual code-blending
Code-blending is the simultaneous expression of utterances using both a sign language and a spoken language. We expect that like code-switching, code-blending is linguistically constrained and thus we investigate two hypothesized constraints using an acceptability judgment task. Finiteness in South Slavic Complement Clauses
This paper shows that the distribution of (non‐)finiteness in the South Slavic languages reflects an implicational scale along an independently attested semantic complementation hierarchy (e.g., Givón 1980).
