This article explores the Jewish identity of different Jewish denominational identification groups using the Decade 2000 Data Set with its 19,800 interviews of Jewish households in 22 American Jewish communities. We relate the Jewish identity of individuals in each denominational group (Orthodox, Conservative, Reform/Reconstructionist) to the denominational composition of the community. We show that formal Jewish education is an important influence on Jewish identity, that women have less access to Jewish education, that their Jewish education is less intense, and that the education they do get has less impact on their Jewish identity. Subsurface temperature data on Jemez Mountains, New Mexico
Temperature data taken in 13 drill tests around the Valles Caldera, near the boundary of the Baca Location No., 1 are presented. Seven of these tests were shallow auger holes near the eastern, southern, and western boundaries, four were rotary holes of intermediate depth along the western boundary, and two were relatively deep tests. Temperature data taken in 13 drill tests around the Valles Caldera are presented. Seven of these tests were shallow auger holes (less than approximately 30m), 4 were rotary holes of intermediate depth (140 m to 170 m), and 2 were relatively deep tests (350 m and 730 m).
