The goal of this study is to elaborate on the actions of Mitar Bakić, Montenegro's diplomatic representative in the Ottoman Empire, aimed at resolving the crisis in Donji Vasojevići (Berane District). The crisis arose as the result of armed conflict between Serbs and Albanians in June 1898.
