Remarks on the topology and kinematics of speech and writing
Beginning a text
Some regularities are noted in the beginnings of texts: anaphora, proper names, and deictics in particular. The basis of these regularities is not grammatical, but rather communicative in nature: the beginning of a text is organized in such a way that the initial phase of communicating provides the text recipients with satisfactory orientation.
