On the occasion of his sixtieth birthday in 1994 and his retirement one year later as professor of Greek language and literature, Dirk Schenkeveld was honoured with a well-deserved Festschrift, which begins with a useful bibliography of his publications up to 1995 and of several forthcoming items (it would be worthwhile to collect at least part of this scattered material in a volume of Kleine Schuften).
