Border Conflicts Between George Bush and Vicente Fox

This study examines the clash between US President George Bush and his counterpart, President Vicente Fox of Mexico. Disputes have taken place since antiquity in what is now the southwestern region of the United States. Indigenous peoples fought European colonizers until the Mexican and US republics emerged. Then, as now, migration, revolution, water access, drugs, and economic exploitation became prominent. From 2000 to 2006, these issues became more prominent than ever as Fox and Bush struggled to control the border between both countries
