I demonstrate the efficacy of auto-geographies as an autobiographical and geographical form not through a theoretical article but through an actual manifestation of an auto-geography, mainly my own. This is an attempt to put geography on some sort of even keel with history as a measuring rod of one’s life. At the same time, it is not meant as a nullification of time or a denunciation of history or as an instrument of the spatial turn. Simply put, it is merely an attempt to focus the telling of our life’s story on what I believe it is already focused on: place, albeit place in time, as how could it not be
