The author presents an overview of ideas about physis as written by both TA and non-TA authors. He explores the scope of these ideas and applies them to the learning process. He adds ideas of his own about physis, some of which combine those of other theorists and others of which are original. The article ends by bringing these ideas together in a cocreative view on learning from the perspectives of both the learner and the educator, a process driven by their shared stream of energy and at the same time separated by their individual longings and aims
