This study explores the role of neighborhood-based networks in fostering coexistence between Christians and Muslims in Southern Wollo, Ethiopia. Using a mixed-methods approach, which includes focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and surveys, the research gathers views from a select group of participants. The findings confirm that Iddir , Iqub , Debo , and coffee ceremonies have long served as important sources for Christian-Muslim coexistence. These networks facilitate trust-building, shared identity, and interreligious interaction. Despite their deep-rooted value, the study underlined the need to integrate these neighborhood-based systems into formal institutional systems. Strengthening and preserving these community networks can advance efforts toward a more inclusive and cohesive society
