Transformation of the Language Education System in Russia and China in the Context of Intensified International Cooperation

The article is devoted to the problem of overcoming the communicative barrier in the modern Russian-Chinese border area, the solution of which implies the need to develop state strategies for managing language education aimed at harmonizing cross-border intercultural interaction and developing the cultural capital of the state. The authors note that these states have faced difficulties that affect the effectiveness of the organization of Russian and Chinese language teaching. It is proved that the contradictions in the field of language education include the lack of integration of language learning into the general educational process, as a result of which language knowledge is not applied in practice. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the need for interstate cooperation between Russia and China in the development of language education, which is an incentive for the development of these states. The novelty of the article is related to the implementation of such a principle as transhumanism, which provides a justification for the formation of programs to stimulate language education in the context of cross-border intercultural interaction. The research is based on the methodology of complex, historical- evolutionary, interdisciplinary approaches developed by Chinese and Russian authors. The article notes that Russia and China are interested in finding and implementing joint strategies for the transformation of language education in the field of teaching Chinese and Russian. The authors prove that there is an opportunity to mutually benefit from the exchange of experience in the field of organization and methodology of language education, which opens up opportunities for the growth of the potential of the cultural capital of the border territories. The result is a proposal for a development aimed at developing vocational language education in higher education institutions and further developing the state’s language education policy aimed at finding and implementing joint strategies for transforming language education in the field of teaching Chinese and Russian, which opens up opportunities not only to improve mutual understanding and strengthen economic and cultural ties, but also to increase the potential of the cultural capital of the border territories
