This article is about the ideological sources of anarchism that began with Max Stirner's work «The One and His Property».Anarchism, according to its contemporary theorists, has become the "heart" of the revolutionary ideology of modernity, a source of ideas and inspiration.Modern philosophy is actively seeking new approaches to understanding "anarchy" as the subject of philosophical reflection. The article deals with the relevance of M. Stirner's ideas in these conditions. With a lack of academic interest in his heritage, there is a growing interest in his philosophy.A meaningful cultural context of the late 20 -early 21 centuries is favorable for unlocking the creative potential of the ideological heritage of the forerunner of European anarchism, in whose work anarchism found a form of a complete theory
