This paper presents information on artifacts made on guanaco scapulae recovered in the center-west of the province of Santa Cruz (Argentine Patagonia), in open-air sites of low lake basins, with late chronologies. The recognition of informal bone artifacts is increasingly common (Aschero et al. 1992-93; Hajduk and Lezcano 2005; Miotti 1998; Santiago et al. 2019, 2020), so it is interesting to draw attention to expeditious actions for the manufacture of bone technology.
