This editorial explores what is happening globally towards achieving sexual and reproductive health and rights. It discusses the perceived fragmentation of work in this field and the de-politicization of the process and the goals involved as the number of issues groups and networks involved has burgeoned. It makes a call to re-politicize sexual and reproductive health and rights and identifies political tools to solve problems. In addition it discusses the money side of this issue as well as outlines key strategies for moving forward
